Over the summer 19th Durham Scouts & Explorers embarked on a trip of a lifetime to KISC (Kandersteg International Scout Centre). This year celebrated 100 years of KISC and we were exceptionally lucky to be a part of that celebration.

We travelled by Coach, Plane, Train and foot to reach the centre on 27th July and after a long day travelling we were greeted with this, what a site for sore eyes!

Over the 10 days we took part in various activities both on and off site, we had train trips up Jungfrau, coach trips to adelboden and sunrise hikes up to Oeschinensee. We met scouts from all over the world and took part in the Kandersteg August 1st celebrations.
