This weekend, 15 Scouts and 3 Leaders look part in the Winter Camp at Hawkhirst Scout Activity Centre, Kielder.
The weekend was hit with a series of disasters but in true scout spirit we stuck at it and succeeded to over come the challenges and have a fantastic weekend.
Leaders travelled to Hawkhirst on Thursday night to pitch some tents in preparation for the busy weekend. After a call on Friday afternoon, to inform us the tents had collapsed, leaders wondered if the 3am return from Hawkhirst was worth it.
However after have a good re-think of the tentage plan, we all headed to Hawkhirst Friday night with a batch of new tents and determination to not cancel the weekend camp.
